FARM TO CUP

Our green coffee beans (and teas) are carefully sourced from experienced traders who care about the industry, including the  farmers they've served for decades, their livelihoods depend on it. We partner with them to hand select specialty coffees of single origin, and arrive to us in green form. When you place an order, we fresh roast small batches and ship / deliver to you within days. We guarantee you will notice the fresh aroma upon receiving your coffee, and taste a difference in the super smooth finish of your first sips.

WHY HALFPIPE...?

We started our roasting operation in a micro-warehouse setting next to an indoor halfpipe skatepark built by my son and I in 2013. He can still shred the ramp and grind the rails, but for now it is there as a fond memory and inspiration as we have advanced to a commercial setting. The term halfpipe is also a part of the wet process at farms used in preparing the coffee beans (seeds actually) for shipment. The coffee cherry is de-pulped and placed into a long tubular halfpipe where it is allowed to ferment, then soaked in water for a period of time before being dried in the sun until they are at a peak moisture content for export. Those delicate green beans are bagged and shipped to traders throughout the world to supply roasters, that's where we come in. Thank you for visiting our site, we hope you enjoy our fresh roasted coffees... and variety of black, green, white, and herbal teas.
